Red Fox Cellars Announce Closing Date (Western Slope Now)

PALISADE, Colo. (KREX) – A popular Palisade winery that first opened its doors over a decade ago has announced its closing date.
Red Fox Cellars, 691 36 Road, announced it will officially close on July 20. As it is winding down, the winery will have discounts on bottles, cases, branded merchandise, furniture, fixtures and cellar equipment.
Owner Scott Hamilton told WesternSlopeNow he believed “it’s time” to close.
Hamiliton said he believes they have introduced wine to younger people by offering unique wine cocktails and port-style wines. He also said they were the first Colorado winery to offer spirit barrel-aged wines and hard ciders.
